Streamlining Complex Fund Transitions

We have extensive experience of managing the end-to-end migration of investment funds during major transitions, including:

• The Transition to a new tax transparent vehicle, where we developed and delivered a detailed plan to transfer four books of business with over £127 billion of assets for a major life insurer to a new tax-transparent vehicle. This included conceptual architectures showing as-is and to-be system interactions for each book. The meticulous approach provided stakeholders with full visibility of the timeline, dependencies and control points across business activities.

• Bringing outsourced middle office services in-house, whereby we completed an in-depth analysis of current state outsourced middle office services and the conceptual target operating model to optimise the proposed in-house services. This combined with detailed process flows, supporting service definitions and a phased plan, enabled a smooth transition to the new operating model that was validated by the comprehensive reconciliations of migrated asset holdings and prices to ensure there were no gaps as a result of the complex transition of assets.
