Multi-Billion Dollar Fund Mergers and Acquisitions

Our consultants executed a significant change programme for a large international asset manager with over €500 billion of assets under management. Leading a team of project managers, this complex programme consolidated operations and migrated €120 billion in assets across 2,000 funds worldwide following the acquisition of three separate entities.

With a €20M budget, funds and portfolios of the targeted companies were migrated from across the Americas, Europe and Asia. The work undertaken ensured continuity for clients while establishing scalable processes for future client onboarding and offboarding, as well as spearheading the delivery of solutions to bridge procedural and technical gaps during the transition.

Stakeholders from the C-suite were engaged to ensure alignment of strategy and priorities, overseeing a seamless transition across asset classes for Front, Middle, and Back Office teams, along with Legal, Compliance, and Risk.

The integration was completed successfully, with assets migrated to the merged platforms globally. This massive consolidation exercise, exemplifies our team's experience navigating complex transitions and ensuring business continuity when financial institutions undergo mergers or acquisitions.
